The proposed dates for the next Sacramental Programme this year are outlined below:

Enrolment:  Sunday, 19th September at 3pm in the overflow room at Saint Mary Immaculate.

This programme is for children already baptised in the Catholic Church.  They should be in year 4 or above and at least 8 years of age at August 31st this year.  When enrolling, please provide a Baptismal Certificate for the child who will be participating in the programme.

There are separate sessions for children and their parents.

The children’s sessions will commence on Monday, 8th November at 5.30 pm sharp, at St Mary's school 13th Ave, and will continue on Monday evenings at the same time, November 15th and 22nd.

The parent meetings will be on Wednesdays (dates to be advised), at 7.00 pm in the overflow room at St Mary Immaculate church, Cameron Rd.

The children’s First Reconciliation will take place on Friday, 26th November at 7.00 pm at Saint Mary Immaculate.

Those children who are not baptised can still enrol in the programme on the understanding that their parents will attend to the matter of the Sacrament of Baptism prior to the date for First Reconciliation.

Preparation for Confirmation and First Holy Communion will continue in 2011 as part of this Sacramental Programme.  It is anticipated that these Sacraments will be conferred Sunday May 15th, 2011.
