To a world velveted in darkness

A light has shone

He came - gently

As the brush of a butterfly wing

Quiet as time - Sacred Silence

Mary – Absorbed in moments of wonder

Eyes aglow heart brimming with love

Communed with her God.

Joseph wrapped in mystery thought

“Who can this Child be?”

All earth shivered and shook

With the joy of a PRESENCE

Glorias rang out from the hillsides

The shepherds – awestruck were told

“Go over to Bethlehem…”

They went in eager anticipation

A lamb their gift.

They knelt in fronds of friendliness

Child – centred

The light has come

Here they taste a world that is powered Presence

Endowed – God – loved

Mary, lift us up to the Christ – Child

Radiate us with your SON
