Update on the new Missals

Thank you for your patience in putting up with the difficulties that have resulted from the New Zealand Ctholic Bishops Conference not being able to publish the new Missal on the proposed date of the first Sunday of Advent 2011.

I am delighted to tell you that we now expect the new Missals to be delivered to each diocese in the third week of February or early in the fourth week of that month. The Missals will be distributed to parishes and other institutions who have ordered the new Missal.

The Bishops hope to decide in the immediate future on the date on which the new Missal will become effective. We will let you know that date as soon as the decision is made.
